His debut was a very good 2nd over 1400m, and then on Saturday he stepped upto 1500m and looked a very exciting prospect in winning a Gr.3 at Sandown….

In a thrilling finish Blond Me got up to win the Gr.2 Topkapi Trophy under a great ride by Oisin Murphy for trainer Andrew Balding. This was the mares first Group win since being purchased privately last season for owner Barbara Keller. She is fast improving and we will now look to step her up…
The tough and consistent Flying Moochi won his 2nd race in Hong Kong when taking the Class 2 at Sha Tin. After a string of 2nd’s the ex-Italian horse really deserved this win. He was purchased by Alastair as a 3yr old from Italy where he raced as Hoovergetsthekeys.

Almanzor has followed up his scintillating French Derby victory with an impressive win in a Group 2 at Deauville. Almanzor is a son of Wootton Bassett. Wootton Basset was purchased by Ed as a stallion on behalf of Haras d’Etreham. Etreham not only stand Wootton Basset, but they also bred Almanzor.
