Beat The Bank won the Group 2 Summer Mile at Ascot under Silvestre de Sousa for King Power Racing and trainer, Andrew Balding. Tragically he died after the race. The win was his fifth Group 2 win for King Power. He won over £600,000 in prize money and was a particular favourite of the late Chairman.
