Cosmic Law kicked off the Epsom Derby and Oaks meeting with a highly impressive six length victory in the Woodcote. Cosmic Law was a £90,000 Doncaster yearling purchaser for owner John Dance and trainer Richard Fahey. The following day four year old filly Pepita won the feature race of the day at Musselburgh and earned valuable black type in the Listed Maggie Dickson Stakes.
