This is normally a quiet time of year for us on the domestic front, however, our international runners are keeping SackvilleDonald in the news.
On Thursday both Fils Anges and Carry on Deryck were winners at Meydan. In doing so they earned well over £100,000 between them. Carry on Deryck is owned by racing super force Godolphin, as is Arab Dawn the winner of the Listed Parramatta Cup. Arab Dawn was a SackvilleDonald yearling purchase and the Meydan winners were bought as horses-in-training.
Then the 3 year old filly Enjoy yourself bolted up in an allowance race at Tampa Bay. She now goes for the Florida Oaks, she was bought privately after winning her maiden for John Oxx.
All in all a successful couple of days.
